Bye to the Beamer

A friend of mine passed away this past weekend after a battle with throat and tongue cancer- Mr. James Beam (Beamer as we called him). He was my Student Council sponsor and PALS sponsor in high school and most importantly, he was my friend and mentor. I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Beam... he was such a great man who inspired me to be a good person, to help my community, to be the person that I am today. I will greatly miss him as I'm sure most of the students will that knew him. I love you Mr. Beam. Thanks for all that you did. This world won't be the same without you.
